Future Fall & Winter 2025 Collections

Preparing for our most eco-focused season yet, every garment will be crafted from:

  • Post-consumer recycled polyester to divert plastic waste from landfills
  • GOTS-certified organic cotton and plant-based fiber blends grown without toxic pesticides

Manufacturing & Packaging Policies

To minimize waste at every stage, we require our production partners to:

  • Ship bulk orders without individual plastic wraps, eliminating single-item packaging
  • Bagged and tagged by hand using our custom compostable bags
  • Use right-sized recycled cartons with minimal void fill and digital invoices

Compostable Garment Bags

Our custom bags combine PLA and PBAT derived from cornstarch and are designed for strength in transit and a clean return to nature.

Material & Production

  • Cornstarch sourcing: Whole corn kernels are milled, separating starch from fiber and protein
  • Lactic acid fermentation: Enzymatic hydrolysis converts starch to glucose; specialized cultures ferment glucose into lactic acid
  • PLA polymerization: Lactic acid is condensed and polymerized into high-molecular-weight polylactic acid (PLA)
  • PBAT blending: PLA is compounded with a biodegradable polyester (PBAT) to enhance flexibility and tear resistance
  • Film extrusion: The blend is melted, extruded into ultra-thin film, cooled, slit, and sealed into finished bags

End-of-Life Decomposition

  • Industrial composting: Fully degrades in as little as 45 days under optimal temperature and microbial conditions
  • Home composting: Breaks down within 3–12 months in typical backyard compost piles
  • Zero residue: Leaves no microplastics or toxic byproducts—returning only water, CO₂, and biomass to the soil
